Black History Month!

We celebrate the month of February to honor the achievements of African Americans that have shaped this country's history. Black History Month originally started as "Negro History Week", the term coined by Carter G. Woodson whose goal was to encourage the teaching of Black History in schools. We hope that you take time during this month to truly acknowledge the history of those who came before us and their accomplishments.
